“I finally achieved my inshore slam and learned so much about the local history and ecosystem of Pine Island Sound. It's amazing, I've lived in SWFL for 15 years but had my eyes opened to a whole new world. The stories and laughs were just as good as the fishing!”
“Captain Tim and his absolutely adorable first mate, Zach, have been my go-to for girls’ days on the water! He’s treated me and my girlfriends to the most relaxing private beach cabana days—think white sand, salty breeze, and no stress. The boat is spacious, comfy, and honestly feels like a floating spa day. He’s even water-taxied us out to Cayo Costa for beach camping adventures. I may not be into fishing, but I love soaking up Southwest Florida by boat and Captain Tim delivers 5-star cabana vibes every time!”
“Captain Tim made our family trip unforgettable! The kids loved earning badges, my son was so proud of his "trash can slam award". The kids also loved hearing "Captain Dad Jokes". We all caught our first snook, and caught so many other species; it was non-stop action!”

⚓ What to Bring:
- Sunscreen (non-spray and mineral based preferred. "Reef-safe" sunscreens typically use mineral-based ingredients like zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, avoiding chemicals like oxybenone and octinoxate, which have been shown to harm coral reefs and marine life).
- Hat and sunglasses (polarized if possible for better protection and to help you see into the water better)
- Snacks or additional beverages (Alcoholic beverages allowed in moderation for those of legal age; no glass)
- Camera or phone for photos
- Appropriate clothing for the weather (Solar protection and light rain jacket, in Winter and Early Spring we suggest a sweatshirt for your comfort temps can be chilly in the morning or evening on the water)
We offer Solar Fishing apparel (Hoodies, Hats, Buffs, and Gloves) as well as hospitality packages that will include: "Reef-Safe" sunscreen, No-Natz Insect Repellent, RFA Fishing Towel, and Topical Hand and Lens Cleaner for an additional cost. Absolutely—if you have a favorite setup, you’re welcome to bring it along (limit 2 rods per person). That said, it’s not necessary. We outfit the boat with premium gear, custom-rigged for the species we’ll be targeting, so you can just step aboard and start fishing.
We keep it easy — cash, all major credit and debit cards, and PayPal are welcome aboard. We don’t take personal checks (we're simple fisherman, not bankers;). To lock in your day on the water, we require a $100 deposit and a credit card on file. The rest can be settled before we leave or when we return to the dock. We are able to process credit card, or PayPal payments dockside.
Pro tip: If the crew knocks it out of the park, you can add gratuity to your card or drop some cash in their hands — either way, it makes their day.
If your crew kept you laughing, worked hard to serve you, and made your day on the water comfortable and unforgettable, a 20% tip is the gold standard way to say “thanks.” Tips go straight to the Captain, who shares with any mates and staff.

No. All of our charters are private—reserved exclusively for your party. We do not combine groups or sell individual seats. The person who books the charter (the “party leader”) is responsible for:
- Payment – Full charter rate applies regardless of the number of passengers.
- Deposit & Credit Card on File – Required at booking to secure your date.
- Liability for Group – The party leader is responsible for ensuring all guests follow safety rules and policies.
- Final Headcount & Cancellations – Any changes must be made in accordance with our cancellation policy.
This ensures your trip is customized to your group and schedule without sharing the boat with strangers.
Yes, alcohol is allowed for passengers of legal drinking age, provided it’s consumed responsibly and does not compromise your safety or the safety of the crew. For everyone’s safety and comfort, hard liquor and glass containers are not permitted. The captain reserves the right to stop any passenger from alcohol consumption if a passenger becomes dangerously intoxicated or unable to follow safety instructions.
While most guests feel fine, motion sickness is always a possibility when you’re out on the water. To help prevent it, avoid heavy foods or alcohol before your trip. If you know you’re prone to seasickness, consider taking an over-the-counter remedy like Dramamine the night before and again the morning of your charter for best results.
We aim to cater to your needs. Once you book a charter, a RFA crew member will contact you to plan and customize your adventure. Once we understand your expectations and desires of your dream trip, we will coordinate when and where to meet. We serve the greater area of Charlotte Harbor to Estero Bay but specialize in the nearshore and inshore highlighted area depicted in the photo.
Absolutely! Bring the whole crew — little pirates and mermaids are always welcome. We believe there’s no better classroom than the great outdoors and God’s beautiful creation. From reeling in their first fish to spotting dolphins and manatees, every moment is designed to be safe, fun, educational, and unforgettable for all ages. We’ll make sure your kids leave with big smiles, bigger confidence, salty hair, and stories to tell long after vacation’s over.
